theNAME announces second guitarist

We have been thinking for a long time about having a second guitarist. Eventually we decided it would be great to have one and have been searching for one for a long time. It seemed almost impossible to find a guitarist meeting al our needs but we have finally found him! Rens is our new man, he can be seen at the coming shows of theNAME. Welcome dude! We are very excited to rock the stage with him.

We Are The Fallen was founded by 3 ex-members from Evanescence (Ben Moody, John LeCompt en Rocky Gray), together with Marty O`Brien (ex-Disturbed) and ofcourse the enchanting singer Carly Smithson. Ben Moody was responable for the biggest hits from Evanescence as a composer and is determined to continue doing so with We Are The Fallen.

We are the fallen support

Today has been confirmed we will do the support for We Are The Fallen in de Melkweg, Amsterdam on June 11 together with My Favorite Scar.

We Are The Fallen consists of ex-Evanescence members Ben Moody, John LeCompt and Rocky Gray, and Marty O`Brien (ex-Disturbed).

EP hard copy announced

By request we decided to release our EP ‘Enchained’ in a nice hard copy version. Soon you will be able to buy it via our website or at one of our gigs. Release date is not exactly known yet, but will be really soon. So keep checking our website!

theNAME wishes everybody a rocking 2010!

As you might know we had a pretty hard 2009 due to the band changes. By now Michel is completely ready to rock live shows as he proved friday in Bibelot. We are still working to replace Mike but hopefully we will be able to make any official announcements soon!

Also due to all changes our planned recordings for a new album have to be postponed, however, we are working hard on more new material and will start making some practise vids so you can have a sneak peak of the new stuff.

Hopefully everything will be done soon and we can give you the energetic shows and quality again that is expected.
